1. Description of Service

SimpleJobMatch is an AI-powered resume analysis tool that allows users to upload a resume and a job description to receive a match report. The service is offered in two tiers: a Free tier with limited monthly analyses, and a Pro tier with expanded features available via paid subscription.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use SimpleJobMatch. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your credentials.

5. Payments and Billing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing to the Pro tier, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless you cancel before the renewal date.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access through that date and will not be charged again. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

If a payment fails, we will notify you and Stripe will retry the charge automatically. Your Pro access will remain active during the retry period. If all retries are exhausted and payment cannot be collected, your account will revert to the Free tier.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

SimpleJobMatch uses artificial intelligence to analyze resumes and job descriptions and generate match reports. The reports are informational only and do not constitute career advice, professional guidance, or any guarantee of employment outcomes. Match scores and recommendations are AI-generated assessments based on textual similarity and pattern matching — they do not reflect the judgment of any recruiter, employer, or human reviewer.

We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content. You should use the reports as one input among many in your job search, not as a definitive assessment of your qualifications.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that you do not own or have the right to use
• Use SimpleJobMatch for any purpose that violates applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service
• Use automated tools to submit analyses at scale
• Share your account with others or resell access to the service
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information

8. Intellectual Property

SimpleJobMatch and its underlying technology, design, and content are owned by simplejobsearch.com and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the service.

You retain all ownership rights to your resume and any content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of SimpleJobMatch is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in that policy.

We do not sell your personal data or use your resume content to train AI models.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, simplejobsearch.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless simplejobsearch.com and its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the service. Continued use of SimpleJobMatch after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
